Gunnings
Gunning materials are extremely carefully designed to achieve quick adhesion and low rebound losses. These products, used in hot or cold gunning, are applied with the help of pneumatic gunning machines or rotary gunning machines.
Hygun® S
It is a low-iron, thermal shock-resistant, high-strength gunning refractory.
Hygun® 30 P
It is a hydraulic-bonded castable with high abrasion resistance.
Hygun® 45
It is a chamotte-based, hydraulic-bonded cold or hot repair material that can be applied at low temperatures. It is used for refinery furnaces and similar places operating at low temperatures.
Hygun® 45 SIC 30
It is a SiC-based hydraulic-bonded gunning material containing 45% Al2O3. It has corrosion resistance and high strength values.
Hygun® 55
It is a gunning refractory made from high-quality chamotte, corundum, and high-alumina cement. Its abrasion resistance and volume stability are good. It does not shrink at high temperatures.
Hygun® 60 SIC 10
It is a SiC-based hydraulic-bonded gunning material containing 60% Al2O3. It has high strength values and corrosion resistance.
Hygun® 70
It is a 70 Alumina, hydraulic-bonded gunning repair material. It is manufactured to be resistant to CO-containing environments.
Hygun® 80
It is an 80 Alumina gunning castable. It is resistant to abrasion, deformation, friction, and thermal shocks.
Hygun® 80 LC
It is used for repairing the worn refractory snorkel surface in vacuum degassing plants.
Hygun® 80 CH
It is an alumina-bauxite based chemical-bonded material resistant to erosion and abrasion. It is used in aluminum melting furnaces, Iron and Steel pelletizing furnaces, hot metal mixers, torpedo cars, soaking pits, slag lines, and sinter furnace roofs.
Hygun® 90 CH
It is a 90 Alumina, corundum-based, chemical-bonded material with high erosion resistance, low iron, and low alkali content. It is used in places where Hygun® 80 CH is used.
Hygun® 60 ZR 5
It is a 60 Alumina, 5% zircon-reinforced gunning castable. Its resistance to abrasion, deformation, friction, and thermal shocks is very high.
Hygun® 60 ZR 10
It is a 60 Alumina, 10% zircon-reinforced gunning castable. Its resistance to abrasion, deformation, friction, and thermal shocks is very high.
