Gunning Mixes
• Ambient conditions and water temperature must remain within the specified nominal range (+5/+25°C).
• Materials must be stored in a dry, moisture-free environment and stacked in a limited number of layers.
• The most suitable application method is the use of a gunning machine.
• The compressed air used in the system must be completely dry. Moist air may cause blockages in the machine, while insufficient pressure can result in significant material loss.
• Special protective clothing and safety goggles must be worn during application to ensure occupational safety.
• The distance between the nozzle tip and the application surface must be maintained within critical limits (1–1.5 meters).
• Sprayed concrete should be spiked and finished with a suitable trowel before it begins to set.
• Water curing must be carried out during the setting stage to prevent heat generation and cracking caused by chemical reactions.
• After application, the concrete must be left to rest for the specified period.
• Once the resting period has been completed, a heat-curing program must be applied to the material.
