ISOWOOL Ceramic Fiber Paper is a highly flexible, lightweight, and easy-to-handle refractory material produced from a specially processed blend of high-purity alumina-silica fibers formed into sheet form. It is recommended for continuous use at temperatures up to 1600°C (3000°F). ISOWOOL Ceramic Fiber Paper features low shrinkage, excellent workability, and low thermal conductivity. During manufacturing, it contains a small amount of organic binder that provides flexibility while minimizing outgassing and odor during service. The product has a highly uniform structure due to its controlled basis weight and thickness, providing consistent thermal conductivity and a clean, smooth surface ideal for packing and gasket applications. ISOWOOL Ceramic Fiber Paper is completely free of rock wool and asbestos and is designed as an economical replacement for asbestos paper in many applications. Ceramic Fiber Paper is easy to process and can be readily cut using knives, scissors, or standard steel-rule dies. Its flexibility allows it to be folded or rolled to conform to even the most complex shapes.
