This high-temperature product is made by mixing NUTEC Fibratec ceramic fiber with special binders and additives to create a paste-like consistency. It can be applied using a pneumatic pump or by hand troweling.

Fibratec 2600 gasket coating can be applied to refractory and non-meltable joints for sealing purposes to improve resistance against heat loss, infiltration of particles, hot gas erosion, thermal efficiency, and lining resistance. It is also used for hot spot repair coating on rigid, difficult-to-machine materials or ceramic surfaces.

In addition, it can be applied to the steel framework as an alternative to insulation panels before the installation of rigid and non-meltable working linings.
